The extra comfort this provides is quite a big deal, because Garmin wants the Forerunner 935 to be your everyday watch. I found the 735XT’s sensor to be a tad uncomfortable for nightly sleep-tracking, but the 935 feels like a real 24/7 watch. Particularly as it also pairs with your phone and serves up basic notifications.

Garmin Forerunner 735XT. Another fantastic option from Garmin, the Forerunner 735XT is perfect for those who are just starting out with triathlon training and racing. Simple to use, it allows you to easily toggle back and forth between training modes for running, cycling, and swimming with just the push of a button.
Under the link I posted a zip archive with firmware for 735XT from version 3.10 to 9.40 including various beta versions. If you want to go back with the software to a version earlier than the latest one, try to install a beta version and then a production version.

Try uninstall of Garmin Express. I did. Had a brand new 735xt last friday. Spent all week watching it freeze when connected and no device showing on home screen. Uninstalled Garmin Express completely (see Garmin Support). Reinstalled (had to use a historic version of Express compatible with my OS). Registered 735xt as device when prompted.
